BETTERMONDAYS, a band from Lucerne, Switzerland, is swaying the audience with original songs covering a stylistic range of Slow Soul & Pop, with a touch of Funk’n’Country. BETTERMONDAYS offer savvy, feel-good music at its best. Regula Hasler’s expressive and powerful voice never fails to impress and won’t leave anyone untouched.

In 2008 BETTERMONDAYS came to national attention when they were chosen to play at the legendary Gurtenfestival near Berne, beating out more than 500 bands. In 2011 BETTERMONDAYS reinvented their sound on their second release “Travelling”. This process was made in collaboration with the renowned Swiss producer duo Flo Goetze und Philipp Schweidler from Department of Noise (Celtic Frost, Seven, Marc Sway, Carlos Leal, Caroline Chevin etc.). The album generated so much interest that it was already receiving airplay on Swiss radio stations before its official launch.

2015 marks the release of the third BETTERMONDAYS CD.

Meanwhile BETTERMONDAYS has grown even more into its sound and now perform as a solid quintet with lead singer Regula Hasler electrifying audiences. In March 2015, the third BETTERMONDAYS CD “Which Day Is Your Day?” was released.

The title track delivers the answer to a rhetorical question that is closely linked to the group’s name. In fact it should cause everyone to rethink the bad image of the week’s first day. The CD includes a rocking confession (“Here is Home”), a globetrotter’s contemplation (“The Road”) , a simple ode to singing (“Just Sing a Song”) and a lullaby with autobiographic background from the band’s singer (“Little One”). All in all a broad showcase that reveals the stylistic range of the band.
